Indian Army organised lecture on “Empower the Women, Empower The Nation” at Khandiyal Kot

YB News Jammu,Sep 25 Indian Army organised an awareness lecture at Govt School, Khandiyal Kot, in District Rajouri for educating women, belonging to border region. The talk started with opening remarks of Sarpanch, Khandiyal Kot who elucidated the assistance of Govt. The lecture informed them about various employment avenues and welfare schemes such as National Policy of Education, Mahila Samakhya, Sukanya Samridhi Yojana, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, National Programme for education of girls at elementary level etc. The attendees were grateful to the Indian Army for undertaking this initiative and asked for more interaction and support on similar activities
