NSF pays tributes to Rabindranath Tagore

YB News Jammu,Aug 07 National Secular Forum (NSF), Jammu unit today paid rich tributes to Rabindranath Tagore on his death anniversary. A programme in this connection was organized wherein Dr Vikas Sharma Coordinator Jammu District (Urban) and Secretary Central Zone JKNC was the Chief Guest while TR Sharma KAS (Retd), Presided over the function. Dr Sukhdev Singh, President NSF, was the guest of honour. The activists of NSF paid tributes to Rabindranath Tagore and garlanded the portraits of the son of soil, who laid down his life for the sake of the country. Speaking on the occasion Dr Vikas Sharma threw light on the lift history of Rabindranath Tagore and appreciated the efforts of NSF and appealed the youth to come forward to eliminate all evils from the society. Dr. Vikas Sharma expressed that present day youth was frustrated due to lack of job opportunities and neck deep corruption in the recruitment process being followed by the UT administration. He mentioned that people have suffered a lot during the last three years especially after the abrogation of Article 370, bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir and downgraded of State to a Union Territory. He urged young generation to strengthen the hands of J&K National Conference (JKNC) enabling it to redouble its efforts to get the status of Jammu and Kashmir statehood restored.
