160 Bn CRPF organizes Tree Plantation Drive at GHS Raipur

Jammu, July 18 Under the Tree Plantation Drive-2022, 160 Bn CRPF organizes Tree Plantation Drive at Govt. Girls High School, Raipur, Satwari, Jammu in collaboration with Forest Department, Jammu. On this occasion Shri Rajesh Shankla, (2 I/C), Shri Dinesh Kumar Sharma (DC), Shri Mukesh (DC) 160 Bn, Block Forest Department Officer Hameed Koli, other officers and Jawans along with School Principal Gazal Mir and School Teachers planted different types of saplings. After the plantation drive, it was apprised by Shri Rajesh Shankla (2 I/C) that the Central Reserve Police Force, which is leading in the Security of the country, always strives to make the environment clean and pollution free. In last many years also, thousands of saplings were planted and taken care of under tree plantation campaign. This year a target of planting 4000 saplings has been set by 160 Bn CRPF under the Direction of Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, he added. He also thanked forest department, Jammu and the Principal of Govt. Girls High School for their cooperation in the plantation drive and expected that the Principal and Teachers of the School would also ensure comprehensive measures at their level for the protection of these planted saplings.
