He referred to the underdevelopment and poor road connectivity in RS Pura and its villages and demanded that equitable developmental activities should be taken up. He said that the people have raised developmental related issues. “We have ample potential to promote border tourism in RS Pura, Suchetgarh and Arnia and all the villages on the border but the department concerned seems not willing to upgrade the infrastructure. The need for road widening from RS Pura towards Suchetgarh and other border areas are required,” he said. He said that the border villages grow world famous basmati rice but there is a poor promotional aspect from the Govt department. He also said that the unscheduled power cuts have affected the drinking water supply and the farmers are among the worst sufferers.
