YB News Akhnoor,Jan 09 The 355th Parkash Parv (birth anniversary) of tenth Guru Gobind Singh Ji is celebrated with great fervour and gaiety at Gurdwara DigianaAsharam under the supervision of Shriman Mahant Manjit Sngh ji of Shiromani DeraNangali Sahib Poonch. The Sangat of all walks of life from far and near areas participated in thousands and paid the obeisance. The Ragi jatha Gianysukhdev Singh Ji from Ludhiana, Doctor Gurpreet Singh parcharak from Amritsar sahib, Bhai Harvinder Singh Parcharak Jammu, Giani- Bachan Singh ji Ragi Jatha Digiana, Giani Daljit Singh Ji Jammu, Giani Ranjit Singh Ji UP Ragi Jatha Jammu, Giani Hardeep Singh Ragi Jatha Jammu did kirtan, katha and through light on the sacrifices of Guru Gobind Singh ji. Guru Gobind Singh Ji sacrificed his beloved sons, mother, father and many other Sikhs for righteousness and humanity. Ravinder Raina President BJP J&K, Shri Raman Bhalla Ex-Minister working President congress committee J&K, Ex-Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, S.Sudershan Singh Wazir Chairman Sikh United Front J&K, Shri Khalid Hussain Ex-DC spoke for Sikhs all over the world celebrate the parkas purv of Gur Gobind Singh Ji with gaiety and fervor and remind the sacrifices made by Guru Gobind Ji. The younger sons Jorawar Singh and Fateh Singh were tortured and bricked alive in sihind, whereas two elder sons Ajitsingh and jujharsingh attained martyrdom in the battle of Chamkaur in Punjab. Guru Gobind Singh Ji alone is known as a spiritual Hero who fights in defence of righteousness. The world has never seen a man, a divine Messenger, a warrior, a prophet, an emperor as great as Guru Gobind Singh. He is often revered as Sabans Dani (Merciful donor who sacrificed his all). The the Parkash Purv celebrated as decided by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandak Committee Amritsar and Akal Takhat Sahib the supreme seat of authority in Sikhism. The speakers from the stage gave reminder to the Government of JKUT as well as Government of India and demanded. The Sikh Sanagat also thanked and announced to the Prime Minister Shri Narinder Modi for 26th December Bal Beer Diwas in the memory of 4 Sahib Ziday It is also demanded that the qouta for refugee unemployed youths be fixed in recruitment at par with other reservations for SC ST categories. The Punjabi language be given the status of official language as LG Jammu and Kashmir UT promised. Out of eight seats for assembly and two seats for Parliament four seats of assembly and one of parliament be allotted to Sikhs of Jammu province and four seats of assembly and one of parliament be allotted to Sikhs of Kashmir province. It is also demanded that the quota for recruitment be fixed to provide the job to educated unemployed who belong to Sikh minority community. The representation to a Sikh be given in the service selection board and as a Sikh advisor. It is also demanded that the pending rehabilitation Rs 24.5 lakh out of 30 lakhs be released in favour of refugees of Pakistan occupied Kashmir who displaced from POK in 1947 as promised by prime minister of India Sh Narinder Modi during a election rally in Jammu and Kashmir. It is also demanded that a Sikh be appointed as a judge of High court of JKUT because no Sikh has been appointed as judge of High court in 74 years. It is also demanded that an advisor to Lieutenant governor Jammu Kashmir UT be appointed from Sikh community.
