Social worker and SSS President distributes warm clothes, masks among needy, asks youth to be philanthropic

YB News Jammu,Jan 09 Social activist andPresidentSarv Shakti Sena (SSS), Jammu and Kashmir, Rajan Gupta today distributed warm clothes and masks among the needy people at Bahu Fort Temple here today. Mahant Bitta ji who was present on the occasion appreciated the philanthropic efforts of Rajan Gupta as part of which he distributed warm clothes and masks among the need section of the society. He also lauded him for the selfless efforts initiated by him in the service of the society. The Mahant prayed to the Mother Goddess ‘Maa BaweWali Mata’ to bestow the Sarva Shakti President with more strength, enthusiasm and good health for pursuing his acts of generosity and philanthropy in the times to come. In his address on the occasion, Rajan Gupta said that in view of temperature plunging low due to incessant rains in the plains and snowfall in the higher reaches during the past few days I made a small endeavour to provide these needy people the necessary clothes including woolens to keep themselves warm during the harsh winter cold. Moreover keeping in view the sudden rise in Covid positive cases reported during the past couple of days in Jammu I thought of providing them masks as an important gear for protection from the deadly virus. He asserted that the underprivileged and poor people constitute a substantial part of the society and there is a dire need to take care of their basic needs so that they can also get proactively involved in the development of the society and the nation. Rajan said, “ Feeling it to be my social responsibility to come forward in the aforesaid direction, I have tried to provide the needy lot a little bit of comfort by donating winter wear clothes to prevent them from falling victim to harsh cold.” He assured to continue his philanthropic and charitable endeavours in future too and provide every kind of help whenever needed by the needy and poor people. He appealed to the youth to volunteer themselves in serving this underprivileged section of the society for the better future of the society at large besides gaining their blessings.
