Er Abha Gupta/ Pooja Thakur Jammu, Jan 9 Q: Tell us something about your journey from an entrepreneur to politics? A: In 2017 I started a trust called Sahyog Charitable Trust. Under this banner we did a lot of work in education, we are organised medical camps. We did a lot of work for disabled people as well. About joining politics I always had an inclination towards Bhartiya Janta party. I felt that only party which works for nation is BJP, that’s why I joined this party. Q: What are your views on talks with Pakistan? A: I think that the time of discussions has gone and we cannot have talks with devils. Our PM has a vision, the way he did surgical strike is the only way to deal with our enemy. Under the able leadership of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi youth of J&K has a hope that they will achieve their goals. The world is ready to invest in J&K which will give a boost in employment to the youth. Our prime focus is to educate the youth. Q: What is your view on delimitation? A: Delimitation commission has done its job. The whole work has been done very transparently without any influence. The parties who were protesting against delimitation commission are baseless and they have no other work to do. There is no discrimination either with Jammu or with Kashmir in terms of the delimitation. Discrimination was done by the parties who ruled here for last 70 years. Q: What are your views on Jammu statehood? A: Jammu and Kashmir are one, they cannot be separated. It is always better to work together rather than to get divided. We can make Jammu and Kashmir above Gujarat. Q: There are so many daily basis of various departments who are protesting for their rights what you have to say on this? A: If we talk about the previous governments, the people used to go on strike on regular basis, there were regular Jammu Bandhs. BJP has worked for the people and the frequency of protests have also declined. The people of BJP are working at the grassroot level. We are trying our best to cater the needs of the people. Party president has assured that the demands of the people will be met. Q: What work are you doing for the people of Samba? A: As it is said that charity begins from home so I started working for the people of Samba. We are planning.of developments for the people of Samba. Samba is my home town so I will definitely work for the betterment of the people.
