Bandipora District Treasury organises NPS Training session for DDOs

YB News Srinagar, Nov 25 In order to educate Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) regarding the implementation of National Pension System (NPS) in an effective manner, a daylong NPS Training Session was today organised by District Treasury Officer Bandipora at Mini Secretariat, here. The Programme was presided over by Director Accounts & Treasures Shaheen Mohammad Ashraf. On the occasion, experts imparted a detailed training to the DDOs and all dealing assistants of the district. The presentations were followed by an interactive session wherein participants posed several questions to the experts to clear their doubts regarding the matter. While addressing all the DDOs and officials of the finance department, Director Accounts gave a detailed presentation about the historical perspective of NPS and its benefits. He said that the main focus of the workshop is to make proper implementation of the NPS System and resolution of problems being faced by the contributors and deduction authorities at different levels.
