Career counseling lecture for students

YB News Kishtwar, Nov 23 Indian Army in its continuous efforts to motivate the youth of the Jammu & Kashmir has undertaken a variety of programmes. In continuing with the same spirit, Indian Army organised a Career Counseling Lecture for students of region at GHS Horna, Kishtwar. The aim of this lecture was to provide a platform and create awareness about education facilities. In the lecture, students were guided about different career oriented courses and various employment opportunities in various skilled and semi skilled sectors. Students raised many queries regarding opportunities and education facilities which were satisfactorily responded to by representatives of Indian Army. A total of 45 students of the Kishtwar region attended the career counseling programme. This initiative by Indian Army was highly appreciated by the students, teachers, youth and villagers. The conduct of such events will go a long way in helping the students of the region to increase their awareness levels.
