Y B News Jammu, Apr 14 Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Jammu Mahanagar organized Shoba Yatra from Press Club Jammu to Ambedkar Chowk on the occasion of 130th birth anniversary of Dr. B R Ambedkar. Shoba Yatra started from Press Club with the slogans of Bharat Mata ki Jai, Ambedkar Ji ka kya Sandesh Sundar Saksham Bharat Desh & ended at Ambedkar Chowk. On this Occasion ABVP Jammu Kashmir State Secretary MuKesh Manhas said Babasaheb Ambedkar gave a strong foundation to independent India. “Babasaheb Ambedkar gave a strong foundation to independent India so the nation could move forward and can become Socially, Economically Strong. He said his struggle to bring the deprived sections of the society into the mainstream will continue to be an example for every generation. He further said Babasaheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar was an ardent advocate of human rights. Often termed as the father of the Indian constitution, he always worked for the welfare of the poor, Dalits and deprived sections. All through his inspiring life, Dr Ambedkar charted his unique path amid extreme adversity and earned commendations for his extraordinary and multi-faceted achievements. ABVP Jammu Kashmir State Joint Secretary Nandita Sharma said the nation is celebrating the 130th birth anniversary of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, also known as Babasaheb Ambedkar today. She said Ambedkar Ji advocated national economic and social development, stressing education, public hygiene, community health, residential facilities as the basic amenities. Jammu Mahanagar Secretary Akshay said Ambedkar's legacy as a socio-political reformer had a deep effect on modern India. In post-Independence India, his sociopolitical thought is respected across the political spectrum. Other who were present in the Shoba Yatra are Akash Bhagat, Akshi Billowaria, Rishab Bali Jammu Mahanagar Joint Secretaries, Niharika, Sarveshwar, Rahul, Janvi, Chitvan, Gaurav, Ankit, Sahil, Abhishek etc.
