2 drug peddler held, 25 gms of heroin (chitta) recovered

Samba, Apr 14 Continuing its drive against the menace of drugs, District Police Samba arrested 02 drug peddlers and recovered about 25 gms of Heroin (Chitta) from their possession in the jurisdiction of P/S Ghagwal. Acting on reliable information, a Police Party of P/S Ghagwal intercepted 02 persons moving under suspicious circumstances at NHW Naka Tapyal, Ghagwal. During frisking of the said persons, approximately 25 gms of Heroin (Chitta) was recovered from their possession. The accused persons identified as 1) Sadiq Ahmed S/O Nazir Ahmed 2) Manzoor S/O Bashir Ahmed both R/O Plai Hiranagar have been arrested on the spot and contraband item was also seized. In this connection, a case FIR No. 87/2021 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Ghagwal and investigation started
