VC DDC Reasi reviews functioning of Block Gulabgarh

Y B News Reasi, Mar 01 Vice Chairperson (VC) District Development Council Reasi Sajra Qadir today chaired a meeting with officers and field functionaries of RDD of block Gulabgarh to review various schemes and progress made under them. Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Reasi Dr. Anirudh Rai and Executive Engineer REW Pankaj Sharma were also present in the meeting. At the outset, the VC sought the details regarding execution of works under MGNREGA, 14th FC, PMAY-G, SBM and other works including completion of Panchayat Ghars, Geo tagging of assets, Aadhar seeding of job card holders besides status of timely payment of wages. On the occasion the ACD briefed the chair through a powerpoint presentation regarding functioning of the department besides physical and financial achievements made under different schemes of RDD. The ACD informed the meeting that several works have been completed besides work under various other schemes is in progress. The VC reviewed Panchayat wise performance made under various schemes and directed for completion of all pending works within the current financial year. She warned of any laxity and asked the concerned to work with a pro-active and people friendly approach. While reviewing MGNREGA, the meeting was informed that the 51 mandays have been generated and 44 percent timely payments target is achieved. The concerned officials were instructed for 100% progress under both the components of MGNREGA. During the meeting, the VC impressed upon officers and executing agencies to accelerate the pace of work in their respective areas by adopting innovative methods for effective implementation of all schemes of RDD so that visible assets are generated following quantity and quality norms.
