Functioning of Cooperative department reviewed at Kupwara

YB News Kupwara, Mar 1 The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Kupwara, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review the functioning of Cooperative department in the district. The meeting held threadbare discussion regarding the functioning of Cooperative Societies in various blocks of the district. It was informed in the meeting that the Cooperative Society has 29 Godowns with a capacity of 1073 MT in the district. Besides, it was also informed that the Society has 72 owned shops, 25 owned buildings and 123 Kerosene oil tankers in the district. The ADDC directed the concerned officers to streamline the functioning of the Cooperative Societies across the district. He directed them to submit videos of all functional societies in the district. Deputy Registrar Cooperative Society Kupwara, Muzaffar Ahmad, District Audit Officer and Assistant Registrars attended the meeting.
