DLRC/DCC meeting held at Shopian

Y B News Srinagar, Sep 18 District Development Commissioner Shopian, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin today chaired District Level Review Committee (DLRC) and District Consultative Committee (DCC) meeting to review the performance of Banks and line departments for the first quarter of the financial year 2020- 21 ended 30th June 2020 here. During the meeting threadbare discussion was held on progress and achievements made by the banks in the implementation of various government sponsored schemes. DDC emphasized upon the banks to increase the lending in agriculture and allied activities to generate employment in the district and also exhorted upon them to work in synergy with the departments and conduct camps to spread awareness among the people about various banking schemes to increase the credit plan flow in various sectors. He urged upon the all participants to ensure timely sponsorship and early credit dispensation of cases during the current financial year to achieve all the set targets leading to generation of self-employment opportunities in the district.
