BJP JAMMU HOLDS “SHRADHANJALI SABHA”

Jammu, July 10 Today “Shradhanjali Sabha (condolence meet)” was organized by BJP District Jammu Kachi Chawni to pay tearful adieu to one of its young and dynamic leader from the valley. Condolence meet was supervised by Vinay Kumar Gupta BJP District President Jammu. Former Deputy Chief Minister J&K.UT Kavinder Gupta, Former MLC Ashok Khajuria, Yudhvir Sethi Vice President J&K, Baldev Singh Billowaria JMC Chairman health and Sanitation, District General Secretaries Ankush Gupta, Kuldeep Khandari others were amongst the prominent party leaders who paid their final respects to the departed souls. Kavinder Gupta termed it as desperate attempt of Pakistan sponsored militants to fail ongoing peace process in J&K. He added that BJP stands with the family and the perpetrators of crime will not be spared at any cost. Kavinder said they were true soldiers of Democracy, who laid down their life for strengthening grass root level democracy in the Valley. Kavinder Gupta expressed its strong resentment against the gruesome killing of its young leader from Kashmir and also held series of protests against the Pakistan sponsored terrorism in J&K.He said that Sheikh Wasim Bari who held party’s responsible position as J&K BJP Executive Committee Member and Incharge for BJP’s Training Cell of Kashmir was also former BJP District President. They told that his brother Umar Sultan Bari was Programme Coordinator BJYM Kashmir. They stressed that both were the young and dynamic BJP activists from Kashmir. They expressed extreme grief and sorrow as well as strong anguish over the gruesome incident that took away the lives of 3 persons including the father of both young BJP leaders. Vinay Kumar Gupta condemns the gruesome killing of the party leader and his family members in the terror attack at the district of Bandipora.He said that the death of the BJP leader is a huge loss for the party and added that their 'sacrifice will not go in vain'. Vinay Gupta said BJP leader Indian Tiger Sheikh Waseem Bari, his father Bashir Ahmad and brother Umar Bashir were shot at by militants from a very close range at Bandipora when they were sitting in their shop last night. All the three injured were rushed to District hospital where they were declared brought dead. Vinay Gupta added that the gruesome killing of the party leader is against humanity. He urged government and security forces to take stern action against the culprits. He also expressed sympathies with the bereaved family. Guns can't silence voice of the nationalist people of Jammu & Kashmir he added. BJP leaders added they were the true soldier of democracy who always worked for strengthening the party at grass root level. The brutal killing of these nationalist people will act as the last nail in the coffin of terrorism in the valley. We demand for enquiry on their killing and elimination of the culprits of Sheikh Waseem Bari and his family. District Jammu BJP unit on friday staged protest against the killing of BJP leader Sheikh Wasim Bari, his father and brother in a terrorist attack in Bandipora. Led by Vinay Kumar Gupta, District President Jammu , the party activists assembled in District Office Kachi Chawni Jammu and raised anti-Pakistan slogans demanding elimination of the terrorists involved in the killings. Talking to reports here, Vinay Gupta said that terrorists are trying to vitiate peaceful atmosphere and are targeting political leaders. He further said that the political workers working extensively in far off and most interior places are becoming soft targets of militants. “The anti-national forces are hell bent to ruin the peace progress of Kashmiri Valley which has seen a new phase of development since the PM Modi has taken the reins of Central Government.
