After BJP's dig, Twitter trends 'Where is KCR

Hyderabad, July 6 After MoS Home and Secunderabad MP Kishan Reddy took a dig at Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for being missing from action during the coronavirus crisis in the state, and requested the state government to go for mega testing, netizens took to social media trending 'where is KCR'. Reddy asked, "You go and stay in a farmhouse, but where will the people of Hyderabad go?" He also cited Delhi's example on testing, tracing and isolating coronavirus patients. The CM headed to his farmhouse and his last public appearance was on June 28. A cabinet meeting was also hinted by CM KCR on June 28 and according to CMO release it was expected in a ’few days’ to discuss the coronavirus situation in the state but to date, no official communication regarding the cabinet meeting has come from the government. ”Several issues will have to be taken into consideration if we decide to impose lockdown under the GHMC limits. If a lockdown is imposed, it should be implemented strictly and totally. There should be a day-long curfew with one or two-hour relaxation to buy the essentials. Flights and train services have to be stopped. All arrangments should be made from the government’s side. Hence, the government will examine all the issues in-depth and would take the necessary decision,” KCR said in the last high-level meeting held on June 28. While Telangana deputy CM Mehmood Ali and his family contracted the virus and were admitted to the hospital (now under house isolation after release), state deputy speaker Padma Rao and at least four MLAs have tested positive for Covid- 19. 255 government and 31 private health care staff, around 200 policemen including top IPS officers also tested coronavirus positive in the city. At least two senior doctors, a head nurse, 2 policemen, unfortunately.
