Traffic deptt launches drive against bullet riders

Taking an action against the bullet riders, who failed to follow the norms, traffic department today started a drive in this regard.
“Today’s drive is exclusive against the traffic violations by the bullet riders, and we are hopeful that such more drives shall continue in future also,” said a top traffic cop.
Meanwhile, traffic department is also talking action against the people who always parks their vehicle in wrong parking and abandon their vehicles after park them on the road sides, the traffic police launched a special drive in this regard.
“In order to curb the menace of wrong parking in the Districts of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri and Poonch, a special drive has been launched to remove all kind of wrongly parked/abandon vehicles on the roads,” informed a senior traffic cop to the Young Bites.
“Due to wrong parking traffic chaos is a frequent/ routine cause of traffic congestion and jamming on the roads/busy rotaries / junctions/markets as well as other establishments i.e Business units, Banquets halls, Restaurants etc,” he further added.
This is very common scene on the roads that some people escapes as they often park or leave their vehicles unattended on the roads for lapse of considerable time which makes less space on the road for smooth vehicular traffic.
In order to ensure hassle free movement of vehicular traffic on the road and to avoid all sort of idle/wrong/unattended vehicles on the roads, Traffic Police Rural, Jammu has launched a special drive which will now visible on the roads in the coming days by Traffic Police Rural, Jammu.
Moreover, during the special drive general public are advised/requested to abide by the following safety rules while on the roads.
The guidelines, which the traffic police has issued for the people are, operators shall carry all relevant documents required under M.V.Act. Don’t park or unattended your vehicle on the road, otherwise it can be lifted or some punitive measure shall be taken. Park your vehicle at designated parking slots for not to face any inconvenience.
All Business establishments are advised not to dump their selling goods on the roads or pavements. Wear Crash Helmet and avoid triple ridding while driving Two Wheeler. Bear Seat belt while drive. Don’t park vehicle at busy market, rotaries or junctions and follow Traffic Safety Rules while on roads.
