Effectual system for more than a residual problem

In Jammu and Kashmir, sanitation, cleanliness and waste disposal and management are a foremost confront before the government and in the dearth of an appropriate waste management plan in rural areas, as the environment has been polluting and many of the water bodies especially springs have got either polluted or wiped out.
Thus, the concerned officers have to come with durable solutions for the waste management rather at earliest. So that government can act upon the recommendations or Plan and start working on it.
Ironically, the government has failed to formulate an inclusive and effective method for the solid waste management.
Debate and discussion are not sufficient regarding issues of Solid Waste Management, as action with implementation is missing at the ground level.
Remarkably, less consideration is paid to the waste management in rural areas, but the government should learn from the 2014 floods which taught that focus needs to be given in rural areas as the majority of the population lives there. Thus, the preponderance of the streams and Nallahs have been converted into small drains due to reckless garbage dumping and the pungent of these streams lead to devastation in 2014.
It is for the state government to put the effective mechanism in all the villages, towns and cities of the state to ensure that proper solid waste management practices are commenced.
Pertinently, the anti-Polythene drive has been somehow a successive effort, as during the drive huge quantity of polythene was recovered by the department. But an effective mechanism has to be placed to dispose off the recovered polythene.
