VG: ‘People friendly’ is a good initiative taken by the police, how will you fulfill this commitment?
RH: To make the police ‘people friendly’ is our commitment and we are trying our best to make is more friendly with the people everywhere. We need to make the style of working some more transparent, so that more and more people should be involved in our work and they must feel their self that we are working for the society to make it crime free.
We are public servants and by making our police people friendly, we have to fulfill our commitment and has to come up to the expectations of the people.
VG: Model police stations were a project, started by the police, what is the progress of that project?
RH: Yes, it is true that the concept to develop some model police stations was adopted by the police, and we are had done a good progress in this regard. We are not only
working over to develop some model police stations, but now are trying to make every police station a model one and our main thrust is to provide every new facility at every police station. To make our police more efficient, it is very important to provide new technology in our police stations, so that the issues of public should be resolved earliest.
VG: Drugs are a menace for our society especially for the youth, how will to tackle this menace?
RH: It is very true that the drugs are menace for our society and our youth are easily get trapped by these drug sellers.
The police have done a remarkable work to control this menace and daily we are conducting raids to arrest the people, who are working against the society and are trapping our innocent youth for some profits.
But, this menace should not be controlled by our efforts, but it is also the duty of people to share any in formation in this regard and they must inform the police if they notice any suspicious person, who could be seen indulged in this menace. People must perform their duty to help us to make this society drugs free and save the youth to get trapped in this illegal and unhealthy trade.
VG: What is your message for the people?
RH: I want to advise the people to observe laws to enjoy a peaceful life. We are trying our best to provide them a crime-less society.
