Free Medical check-up organised by Dr Sushil Sharma

YB News Jammu,Aug 07 A free medical check-up camp was today organzied by Dr. Sushil Sharma HoD Cardiology Super Speciality Hospital (SSH) in collaboration with All Jammu and Kashmir Disable Welfare Trust (Regd.) at Akhnoor. The camp was organised under the chairmanship Sushil Kumar Sharma Chairman All J&K Disable Welfare Trust. SSP Mohan Lal bhagat (JKPS) Deputy Director SKPA was specially present during the camp. More than 100 patients including women and elderly people visited the camp for check up and treatment thereof. Free medicines besides tests including ECG, Blood Sugar etc were also conducted at the camp. Further Dr. Sharma stressed upon the preventive aspect of cardiac dis eases. In this regard people in general are advised to adopt a healthy lifestyle which includes regular walk and physical activities. Obesity is another factor for which people should be aware because it is a precursor for a large number of diseases itself. Further smoking which is very harmful for all vital organs should be shunned. In addition to this uncontrolled blood pressure, uncontrolled diabetes, hyperlipidemia should be checked and appropriate measures should be taken for their control.
