My son associated with PFI but innocent, says father of accused in Patna terror module case

Darbhanga, July 18 Bihar police probing the terror module busted in Phulwarisharif locality in Patna raided the house of one of the accused- Sanaullah in Darbhanga. The father of the accused said that his son was associated with the PFI but was not involved in anti-national activities. Sanaullah was not found in his home and his father said that he had not turned up for a long time. Sanaullah is on the run ever since the police busted a terror module which planned to make India an Islamic nation by 2047. There was also a plot to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit on July 12. Sanaullah's father, Shamsher Ahmed, said that his son is innocent and the allegations levelled against him are baseless. However, he admitted that his son was associated with the Popular Front of India (PFI) organisation and was also involved in public and secret meetings of the PFI. Sanaullah's father said that he had not returned home since July 13 and his whereabouts was not known to them. "My son was associated with PFI from his student life and at present he is the general secretary of PFI. The police have been looking for my son ever since the case came to light in Patna but the allegations against him are baseless," Sanaullah's father Shamsher Ahmed said. Two prime accused in the Phulwarisharif terror module case, identified as Mohammad Sanaullah and Aquib, have been on the radar of the police and an FIR has been filed against them. Aquib is a resident of Shankarpur Barwada, Singhwara in Darbhanga and the names of both the accused are on the hit list. Sanaullah has also been on the radar of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and his activities were monitored. Police have filed an FIR against 26 people in the Phulwarisharif terror module case and have arrested six people so far. A few days back, two people were arrested for operating a terror module in Patna and the suspected terrorists were being trained in Phulwari Sharif 15 days ahead of PM Modi’s visit.
