Missing for hours, 2 cops found dead in paddy field in Kerala district

Muttikulangara, May 19 Two police personnel who have been missing since last night, were found dead in a paddy field, located near Muttikulangara police camp in Kerala district on Thursday. As per PTI reports, the deceased, identified as Mohandas and Ashokan, were constables attached to the camp but were not on duty since last night. It is suspected that the duo had entered the field for fishing when the incident took place. Upon receiving information, police reached the spot, following which the bodies were sent for postmortem. While the exact cause behind the death is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that the duo may have died due to electrocution as burn marks were reportedly found on the bodies.
