Quami Ekta meet organised by army

YB News Poonch, Nov 25 Indian Army organised “Quami Ekta Meeting” at Marhot, Poonch. The meeting aimed at enhancing interaction with AWAM and to have better understanding with locals. Important issues concerning the village populace to include welfare, education and religious harmony were discussed during the meet. During the event, the citizens were also informed about the various skill development programmes being run by Indian Army for women and youth empowerment. The spirit and self-discipline of villagers were applauded in restricting the spread of COVID pandemic. During the meeting attendees were also informed about various other welfare activities that, the Indian Army could conduct in order to assist the villagers in improving their quality of life. The event was attended by prominent residents including Government officials.
