Congress party's parliamentary panel meets to chalk out strategy ahead of Winter Session

New Delhi, Nov 25 Congress president Sonia Gandhi called a meeting of the party's Parliamentary Strategy panel ahead of the Winter Session. The meeting was held at 10 Janpath, the official residence of Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi. Key issues were discussed during the meeting, including a roadmap for the party's strategy for the upcoming Winter Session. On Monday, Congress general secretary KC Venugopal told news agency ANI that the party intends to raise the issue of inflation when Parliament convenes. The Congress party has also been raising the issue of Rs 4 lakh ex-gratia to the kin of those who died of Covid-19. Among Bills to be tabled in Parliament during the Winter Session is a Bill for the repeal of the three farm laws and another for the regulation of cryptocurrency. Interestingly, the meeting of the Congress party's Parliamentary Strategy panel was called at a time when Congress leaders in parts of the country are flocking to the Trinamool Congress (TMC). The most recent example of this migration came to the fore on Wednesday when former Meghalaya.
