Sufferings of Price Rise and Unemployment intensified under Present BJP Govt: Dr. Amar Chand Bhagat

YB News Doda, Nov 23 Miseries of the common man have increased many folds due to the wrong policies of the BJP led government particularly in respect of the price rise, said Dr. Amar Chand Bhagat of Jammu and Kashmir Congress party while interacting with a gathering on 20th and 21st November 2021 in a hilly and remote area of district Doda, as the part of JAN JAGRAN ABHYAN programme launched by the J & K unit of Indian National Congress under the noble guidance of J & K Pradesh Congress Committee President Shri Ghulam Ahmed Mir. Dr. Bhagat further elaborated that recent announcement regarding decrease in the prices of Petrol and Diesel by Rs.10 & Rs. 5 respectively made by Narendra Modi government is just an eye wash as already the prices of fuel have been increased many folds. May be such announcement was made in view of ensuing Assembly elections in 5 to 7 states sensing their debacle and may be also in view of resentment among people. Modi government may further make some other announcement when Assembly elections reach more closer and again this government may increase these prices suddenly and abruptly, once these elections are over. Same is the case of cooking gas cylinder that costs Rs. 1000 at present while as the same used to be of less than Rs. 400 prior to 2014 i.e. during the Congress regime. Prices of all essential commodities including edible oil, pulses, vegetables etc have gone out of reach of common man. The leaders of BJP have exploited the innocent people of India by telling bundle of lies, made false promises like, SAB KA SAATH SAB KA VIKAS, ACHHE DIN AYEN GE, 100 DIN MIEN MEHANGAIE KAM KREN GE , 100 SMART CITY BANAYEN GE, VIDESHOON MEIN KALA DHAN WAPIS LAYEN GE, HAR SAAL 02 KRORE YUWAOON KO ROZGAAR DEIN GE, DESH SE GARIBI AUR BHRASHTACHAR MITAIAN GE, NOTEBANDI SE ASANKWAAD KHATM HO GA etc. But against aforementioned hollow slogans of Modi government inflation and unemployment are at its peak. In Jammu & Kashmir according to recent survey the unemployment percentage is 22% which is highest than all other states in the country and even highest ever in the history during last 73 years. People are without work and are seeking employment. Women are insecure, in the government departments bureaucratic arrogance is unbearable to common man, there is surge in terrorist incidents. This government sold Air India-the flag carrier airline of India, Pawan Hans, privatized / sold LIC of India, BSNL, Air Ports, PBCL, Public Sector Banks like IDBI Bank and Container Corporation of India. Modi government has been imposing taxes on everything which are unbearable by the common man and such taxes have virtually broken backbone of the poor. It is constitutional obligation of an elected government in a democratic set up and welfare state to launch and extend people friendly schemes and if at all on the other side 0.5 or 1 % taxes are imposed even then it does not matter much for the common man. But perhaps this present government is at a loss to understand as to what it has done new in the last 7 years – any new project, new jobs, a poor man is in search of job, there is no work, no job. Crores of people have been rendered jobless due to different anti-people policies of this government. This Modi government-imposed water tax, electricity tax, property tax, house tax, petrol tax, diesel tax, LPG tax etc. This can be called as TAX TERROR & on the other hand, had this government launched welfare schemes and programs of poor, there could not have been much difference. Modi government imposed several taxes on people of India and waived off Bank Loans of Adani and Ambani to the tune of 16 lac Crores. With such anti-people policies of this government there is lot of resentment among general masses of the country including people of Jammu & Kashmir.
