VP DCC organises Felicitation cum Celebration programme

YB News Jammu, Nov 22 Mohan Choudhary, Sr. Congress Leader, Suchetgarh (Vice President, DCC, Jammu Rural) organised a Felicitation cum Celebration programme at R.S. Pura to celebrate the repeal of three anti farmers bills by the Centre Govt. A huge number of farmers and congress workers were present on the occasion. Those farmers of Suchetgarh Constituency who went to Singhu Border and contributed to the Sanyukt Kisaan Morcha’s fight against the anti farmers black bills were felicitated on the occasion. Those who were felicitated included: Girdhari Lal, S. Mool Singh, S. Partap Singh, S. Shamsher Singh, S. Randheer Singh, S. Bunty Singh and others. While addressing the farmers and congress workers he appreciated all the farmers who went to Singhu Border and contributed to the cause. He termed the repeal of the laws as the victory of Truth and Non Violence over Arrogance. He said that the sections of media and establishment were busy labelling farmers and those standing in solidarity with them as terrorists and separatists but ultimately the truth has won. He said that it was rightly said that the truth can be disturbed, not defeated and the repeal of farmers laws by the Modi Govt. has proven this proverb correct. He also said that we should also be thankful to Rahul Gandhi, former President AICC who fought from Sadak to Sansad in support of the farmers. The farmers also expressed their thanks to Mohan Choudhary who protested time and again in support of farmers’ cause under the directions of Congress Party. At the end of the function, a victory rally was taken out to celebrate the victory of farmers and sweets were also distributed to public. Others who were present on the occasion were: S. Santokh Singh Secretary, S. Lakhvinder Singh, S. Bhupinder Singh, Raju Sharma, Ajay Kumar Billu, S. Jasmeet Raina, Chamel Singh Chib, Dr. Sudesh Kumar, Mohinder Lal, Sher singh, , Gurdyal Singh, Mohan Lal and others.
