AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV CELEBRATED

Poonch, Sep 26 Amidst the ongoing celebrations to commemorate 75 years of Independence, Indian Army along with Nehru Yuva Kendra celebrated the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' with AWAAM in Jarran Wali Gali, Poonch (J&K). Interweaved nationalistic feelings with the villagers of the area participated with much pomp and fervor. The event sight was ornamented with flowers along with its podium, stairs and marching ground. The National pride, Tricolor was hoisted, with salutes and tributes followed by National Anthem, which filled the morning of this important day with patriotic fervor and pride. The society representatives remembered and paid respect to all the great heroes who fought and sacrificed their lives for country freedom. ‘National Integration’ and ‘Role of Indian Army in maintaining peace and harmony’ in the region have deep footprints to guide the generation in creating an incredible and prosperous India ahead. Society also applauded the burgeoned endeavors made by the Indian Army in carrying out various welfare activities. This euphoric event instilled a sense of patriotism in the school children. The promising youth assured every possible effort to uphold the unity and make the nation proud. The Awaam and Indian Army displayed harmonizing spirit of cohesiveness and National integration.
