Cong allegations on development deficit totally baseless: Balbir

Jammu, April 16 Stressing on the need to vigorously counter the baseless allegations of Congress on development and expose it for shedding crocodile tears for Jammu after having been rejected by the people, Jammu and Kashmir BJP Spokesperson, Balbir Ram Rattan, said that compulsion for political survival is making the leaders of this party to make statements on daily basis, which are false and misleading. Discussing various development projects which Jammu got in particular from the BJP government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the last over six years, Balbir shared with BJP Secretary Arvind Gupta, former MLA Ashwani Sharma, Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta and Nanaji Deshmukh Library & Documentation Department Incharge Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra, that for the first time Jammu has seen real development in every field, which has frustrated the Congress leaders, who are feeling difficult to face public. Balbir Ram Rattan said that for the first time Medical Colleges at District levels have been established equipped with ventilators, oxygen and test facilities. MBBS classes have also been started there. Ayushman Health Scheme has been gifted to the people, wherein anyone enrolled can avail free treatment upto rupees 5 lakh in any empanelled hospital across the country. It shows the concern of the government for Health Sector. Balbir further shared that in Education Sector, we have IIT, IIIM, Cluster University etc which indicates that the Jammu is fast emerging as Education Hub. As far Infrastructure Development, four lanning of road from Jammu to Rajouri- Poonch is in progress, work on Banihal tunnel to connect Kashmir is at last leg. First Phase of Ring Road has been completed, Balbir said and added that prestigious projects stalled for decades together are getting completed during BJP government. In power generation sector, mega projects have been sanctioned and work taken in hand, which will make Jammu and Kashmir power surplus, thus providing regular electricity besides bringing revenue on selling it out.
