FOB, Kangan organises webinar on “Anniversary of Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana

YB News Srinagar, Apr 15 On the occasion of 6th anniversary of Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana, Field Outreach Bureau Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Government of India, Kangan organised a webinar. The webinar was organised under the overall supervision and Chairpersonship of Miss Neha Jalali, Deputy Director, Press Information Bureau, Jammu and Regional Outreach Bureau, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, J&K and Ladakh UTs. The webinar was attended by Suhail Ahmed Lone Executive Manager, Jammu & Kashmir Bank Srinagar and Nasir Ahmed Bhat Executive Manager, Lead Bank, Ganderbal. In her address Neha Jalali, appreciated the role of banks in providing the loans to the unemployed youth without much documentation. She highlighted the concept of collateral free loan under Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana and urged the unemployed youth to take maximum benefits of the financial inclusion schemes and become the entrepreneurs. She was of the view that with the launch of Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana, enthusiastic citizens can avail loan facility to become job provider instead of job seekers. Executive Manager, J&K Bank, Jawahar Suhail Ahmed Lone, Srinagar in his address highlighted various aspects and provisions of Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana. He elaborated three categories of the Yojana viz. Shishu, Kishore and Tarn and also explained different limits of loans available under these three schemes. He also delivered a key note address on overview of Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana and its loan disbursement in the Rajouri district Nasir Ahmed Bhat lead bank Manager, Ganderbal in his address highlighted the importance of various provisions being provided under Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana. He also underlined the importance of these webinars for spreading awareness of such beneficial schemes. He also urged the participants to share awareness of Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana with their families, friends and respective area. During the interactive session a number of queries and questions were raised by the audience which were clarified by Experts who acted as Resource Persons. Khursheed Yousuf, Field Publicity Officer, Udhampur presented the Vote of thanks and the Webinar was moderated by Sikander Qureshi, In charge Field Outreach Bureau, Kangan.
