NO COUNTRY CAN HAVE A VETO ON INDIA'S TIES: JAISHANKAR
New Delhi, Apr 15 India’s Minister for External Affairs, Dr S Jaishankar, said no country can have a veto on India’s participation in groupings such as the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue or the Quad. Dr Jaishankar gave this statement while participating in Raisina Dialogue with his Australian and French counterparts, Marise Payne and Jean-Yves Le Drian. Emphasizing the Indo-Pacific strategy, Jaishankar reiterated the significance of an open and inclusive region. “Indo-Pacific is a clear message that India will not be constrained between the Malacca Strait and the Gulf of Aden. Our interests, our influence, our activities today go way beyond,” Jaishankar said while concluding the discussion.
