Dr. Ambedkar showed world path of equality: Randhawa

Rajouri, Apr 14 Bharat Ratan Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar whom we call Baba Saheb with love has showed world the path of equality. It was stated by former Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa while addressing people at Rajouri after paying floral tributes to Dr. Ambedkar on his 130th birth anniversary. While speaking on the occasion Randhawa said that Dr. Ambedkar has written a world’s best Constitution which provides equal rights to men and women and equal rights to all religions. He said that Baba Saheb being head of the Committee that drafted Constitution of India ensured to remove inequality among various sections of the society in free India. He said that the sacrifices of Dr. Ambedkar for the downtrodden section cannot be forgotten. “The Constitution of India has made our nation a giant successful democracy of the world and today international communities quote examples of our democracy”, Randhawa added. He further said that a country is run by the Constitution and not by the leaders, the judiciary, the police and the administration has work as per the rule and regulations laid down in the Constitution and the man who drafted this indeed was among world’s most intelligent person. He said that the ideology of Dr. Ambedkar of equal society must be followed to make this nation a ‘Vishaw Guru’. Randhawa said that division among societies is our weakness and union is strength. Dr. Ambedkar throughout his life fought for making equal society in India which was then divided into casteism. He called upon people to follow the ideology of Dr. Ambedkar to make India a world leader.
