NO WAITING PERIOD, SLOTS INCREASED FOR REGISTERING OF DOCUMENTS

Jammu, Apr 12 Continuing its efforts towards making the process of Registration more convenient and transparent, the Revenue Department has done away with the waiting period for scheduling of an appointment in any office of any of the 87 Sub-Registrar Offices (SROs) in Jammu and Kashmir. It said that any citizen desirous of registering any document, can book a slot for the same day with no waiting period while ensuring that citizens can schedule slots as per their convenience. It is pertinent to mention that the Revenue Department in consultation with Inspector General of Registrations and Software Development Unit.
