Layered Corn and Spinach Rice with Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
For The Rice
2 cups cooked long
grained rice (basmati)
1 tbsp butter
1/2 cup milk
salt to taste
For The Corn
Mixture
1 1/4 cups boiled and
coarsely crushed
sweet
corn kernels
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp finely
chopped green chillies
1/4 cup finely
chopped onions 1/4
cup milk
1 tbsp fresh cream
1/2 tsp sugar
salt to taste
For The Creamy
Spinach
3 cups shredded
spinach (palak)
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp finely
chopped green chillies
1/4 cup finely
chopped onions
salt to taste
1 tbsp fresh cream
For The Tomato
Sauce
1 cup fresh tomato
pulp
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp garlic
(lehsun) paste
1/4 cup finely
chopped onions
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp sugar
salt to taste
