People across the globe do a variety of things in order to set a world record. Sometimes, to get their name registered in the Guinness World Records, people do absolutely bizarre things like growing a vegetable to an unimaginable size and doing totally random activities. One such person, who aims to get his name registered in the Guinness World Records, swam for four hours straight while wearing handcuffs. According to a report in The Free Lance Star, the 32-year-old man named Ben Katzman covered a distance of 8.6 kilometres with handcuffs on. As of now, his attempt has not been officially recognised by the Guinness World Records. Ben informed the news portal that he has already submitted all the photos, videos and time logbook to Guinness World Records. For the unversed, the current world record of farthest swim wearing handcuffs is held by Elham Sadat Asghari. He had set the record in 2019 after he swam a distance of approximately 5.49 kilometres. The Virgina based man also asserted that this is a personal victory for him.
