Mughlai Vegetable Biryani Recipe

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups cooked
long grained rice
(basmati)
1 tbsp finely chopped
coriander (dhania)
For The Vegetable
Mixture
2 tbsp ghee
1 small stick cinnamon
(dalchini)
3 cardamoms
(elaichi)
2 cloves (laung /
lavang)
1 bayleaf (tejpatta)
1 tsp cumin seeds
(jeera)
1 tsp ginger-garlic
(adrak-lehsun) paste
1 tsp finely chopped
green chillies
1/2 cup thinly sliced
onions
3/4 cup chopped
tomatoes
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp coriander (dhania)
powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
(haldi)
salt to taste
1 cup chopped and
boiled mixed vegetables
1 tsp lemon juice
Method For the vegetable
mixture 1.
Heat the ghee in deep
non-stick pan, add
the cinnamon, cardamoms,
cloves,
bayleaf and cumin
seeds. 2. When the
cumin seeds crackle,
add the ginger-garlic
paste, green chillies
and onions and sauté
on a medium flame
for 2 to 3 minutes.
