Army organizes medical checkup

Jammu, Feb 28 Keeping up with the tradition of empathy and concern for local population, Indian Army under took a health check up drive at this remote locality of Poonch district. A team of Army, civil doctors and nursing staff rendered free medical check up to the people of the area. The conduct of medical camp in this area is also special because of its proximity to line of control.The organised event covered 500 villagers including 168 Male, 216 Women and 116 Children. The Indian Army has been regularly organizing medical camps in these areas thereby benefitting general populace and earning their goodwill. These camps also help in establishment of rapport between Awaam and Jawan.
