Chrungoo presents five point charter in Global Hindu Federation Webinar

Y B News Jammu, Feb 28 Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, Senior BJP and Kashmiri Pandit leader and Incharge, Deptt of political Affairs and Feedback, J&K-BJP presented a five-point Charter in the Webinar organised by the Global Hindu Federation (GHF) today. The webinar was titled as 'Global Hindu Thought Leaders Conference on Dharma Rising' and was attended by the participants from 20 countries. The event was presided over by Malaysia based Dato Pardip Kukreja, President, GHF. The inaugural address was delivered by Guruji Anand Krishnan, Bali- Indonesia and the keynote address was made by Pt. Satish Sharma, UK. Jeffery Armstrong, a prominent Indologist from Canada presented the concluding speech. Other prominent speakers from various countries included Dr. R.N.Gopee, Mauritius, Sanjay Kaul, US, Dr. Rajat Mitra, India, Maneesh Tripathi, Singapore and Satchithanantham, Sri Lanka. U2 Kumar and Krishna Raj conducted the proceedings of the event which started with sweet bhajans. Chrungoo, who represented Jammu and Kashmir (India), said that it was indeed enthrawling to watch all the global participants joining together in a much hyped global debate on various facets of the Hindu thought leaders conference held after one year. He said, "We met last almost one year ago in New Delhi, and due to the Covid19 pendamic situation were not able to take forward the agenda of Delhi conference to the next level as was desired. Having said so, here it is one more opportunity to rise to the occasion". On the slightly amended topic, 'How Bharat can grow outside India', Chrungoo maintained, "India infact is a geo-political denomination while Bharat is the Sanatan legacy of Civilizational code of India. It reflects in itself anything and everything that the thousands of years of our history, struggle and achievements as a proud cultural unit we carried alongwith". "There is no doubt that beyond the borders of India there is a huge amount of Bharat that resides from Seoul to San Fransisco and from Moscow to Mortan. While there is a more than a Billion Hindu dwelling in India, twenty percent more reside outside India in almost all corners, whether it is US, Canada, Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific or the down under in Fiji, Australia and New Zealand. Time has come to tie together with the bond of BHARAT living in us". He presented five-point agenda. Besides being devout Hindu, the Hindus need necessarily to be vociferous politico-cultural Hindus wherever they live. Any Hindu in distress anywhere has to be a concern for all of us. I will reiterate the importance of the establishment of an international Hindu Human Rights Commission that should be registered with the UNHRC. It is always important to understand and assimilate the essence of 'Dash- Avtaar' of Lord Vishnu, Budha being one of them. There is an immediate need to own Bhudda and Bhuddist pholosophy fully (as a society) as key to widen our scope for socio- political spread globally. It can target many goals that have been ignored over the last one hundred years. Sikh outreach is an important factor keeping in view that the Gurus sacrificed themselves for the cause of "Desh & Dharam". We require to provide an umbrella cover to the pious relatioship of ours with the Gurus of Sikh tradition and call them our Gurus, infact, organise their Prakash Divas, Langars and other features connected with the great tradition globally. The economic and administrative relationships among the Hindus all over the globe have been found very successful which have promoted the cause of Bharat every time. It is important to carry it forward in a subtle diplomatic attribute with the professionals in front.
