GDC RS Pura organises essay writing competition

Y B News Jammu, Feb 26 On the occasion of National Science Day, the Science Club of GDC RS Pura organised two day’s celebrations conducting an essay writing competition on 25th February and Poster Making competition on 26th February on the theme “Future of STI: Impacts on Education, Skill and Work” under the patronage of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Sunita Sudan and able guidance of Convener Dr. Rajinder Singh. A total of forty students participated enthusiastically in both the events by making beautiful posters showing importance of innovations in present scenario under the supervision of Dr. Balwinder Kaur and Prof. Bindu Kumari. Both the events were judged by Prof. (Dr.) Jaipal Singh, Dr. Chetan Sharma and Prof. Vishal Sharma.The first, second and third positions in Poster Making were bagged by Ankit Sharma (Semester -I), Prachi (Sem – V) and Akash Verma and group (Sem-V) respectively. In Essay Writing, Aastha (Sem-I) got first position. The second position was shared by Ashish Nurku (Sem-I) and Yatin Hans (Sem – V) and Isha Jojra(Sem-I) got third position.
