BJP Kashmir Displaced District raises several issues before Commissioner Secretary

Y B News Jammu, Feb 25 A delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party Kashmir Displaced District met Simrandeep Singh, Commissioner Secretary Disaster Management and Relief and Rehabilitation Department Jammu and Kashmir UT under the leadership of Chand Ji Bhat District President and other office bearers accompanied him were H.K. Razdan, Sanjay Bhat General Secretaries and submitted a memorandum to him regarding the redressal of various issues pertaining to Kashmiri displaced Community members. The delegation appraised Commissioner Secretary about the plight of Left out candidates for recruitment under PM package from 2010 and onwards, these candidates have been deprived of employment for the last more than ten years. They are moving from pillar to post for the last so many years and want redressal of their grievances at the earliest so that they may be absorbed in the Government job under PM Package. The another issue which came under the discussion about the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya scheme, and its implementation for Kashmiri Displaced Community. But unfortunately the scheme has not been fully implemented in favour of displaced community yet. These poor people are putting up in various Townships such as Jagti, Nagrota, Purkhoo and majority of them in rented accommodations, and requested for its early implementation so that benefit of this scheme is extended to the Displaced Community at the earliest. The Commissioner Secretary said that process under this scheme has already started in jagti Town ship and simultaneously this process will start in other places also very soon. The issue regarding the inclusion of new voters in the voter list and issuance of Voter I. D. Cards in favour of Displaced Community members was also discussed. The machine for facilitation of printing of Voter I. D cards for displaced community at Shanker Building Toph Sherkhania is non operative with the result it will affect the participation of people in the forth coming election. The electoral rolls of some districts are also not available with the Relief Organization, which needs to be made available.
