Reopening of schools, teaching staff sensitized

YB News Srinagar, Feb 25 The Education Department, Bandipora has organised a sensitization programme for teachers at Mini-Secretariat Bandipora in view of the reopening of schools after the Covid 19 pandemic. The teachers were sensitized about the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to be adopted by them in schools and were asked to adherence strictly the SOPs and guidelines issued by the government to ensure a safe teaching learning environment in schools. Chief Education Officer, Mr Javed Iqbal said that all arrangements have been put in place to ensure smooth functioning of schools. He said special attention is being given for ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in and around the schools buildings for the safety of children and the staff alike. Deputy Chief Education Officer, GM Sheikh, Zonal Education Officers, Heads of Institutions and other senior officers of the district were present on the occasion.
