155 gms charas recovered, 1 arrested

Jammu, Feb 24 A police team of PP Chinore led by SHO P/S Domana Inspr. Mahesh Sharma assisted by I/C PP Chinore SI Deepak Bharti while on naka duty rounded up a suspect namely Shabir Ahmed S/O Nazir Ahmed R/O Seer salia Anantnag A/P Bagani Tallab Raipur who was coming from Bagani Talab towards Raipur Morh. On search, 155 Gms of Charas was recovered from his illegal possession. On this, case FIR No. 54/21 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act got registered at P/S Domana and accused got arrested. Further investigation of the case is going on. Jammu Police is striving hard and taking every possible step to make people especially youth aware to eradicate drug menace.
