10gms heroin like substance recovered

Kathua, Feb 24 Distt. Police kathua today recovered 10grams of heroin like substance in the jd of PP Hatli Chowk and arrested 03 accused involved in the aforesaid crime. Today a naka was established at Hatli morh under the supervision of Insp. Sandeep Charak and during checking one scooty without registration number was stopped for checking on which three persons were travelling. During personal search of all the three persons viz Imtiyaz Ahmed Mir S/O Ali Mohd Mir R/O Malikpora Teh Villagam Distt Kupwara, 5 gms herion was recovered,Varundeep Singh @Tarzan S/O Gurudev Singh R/O Ward No 14 Barmora Kathua Teh & Distt Kathua,03 gms herion was recovered and from Suresh Kumar @ Sethi S/O Mohan Lal R/O Mirpur Ram Teh Nagri Distt Kathua, 2 gms heroin was recovered making a total of 10gms from their illegal possession. On this a case Fir no 88/2021 u/s 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act was registered at PS kathua and investigation has been taken up.
