1 bootlegger arrested; 15bottles of illicit liquor recovered

Kathua, Feb 24 In continuation to take stringent action against illegal liquor menace, A police team of Police Station Bilawar under the supervision of Insp. Yashpal conducted the raid at pallan area of billawar police station and apprehended one suspect namely Pritam Lal S/O Chunni Lal R/o Pallan Tehsil Billawar. During physical checking,15 Bottles of illicit liquor(JK Special Whisky)was recovered from his possession illegally.Later on, accused was arrested along with recovered liquor seized on spot. On this, instant case vide FIR No 30/2021 u/s 48 (f) Excise Act has been registered in P/S Billawar and further investigation of the case is going on.
