Rajinder Kumar, Congress candidate for the DDC election from Marh Block during an interaction with Young Bites correspondent Pooja Thakur describes the current issues being faced by the locals. Q. How you will address the grievances of locals? RK: Various problems are being faced by the locals of Marh Block. The developmental scenario of Marh Block is standstill due to the non-availability of resources. If I win these by-polls, I will change the scenario of my Block and try to generate new employments schemes for the youth of Marh Block. We are trying to highlight the problems of youth. The opposition parties are selling daydreams to youth which will turn into a nightmare after they come into power. The Centre Govt campaign lacs of vacancies but from last 4 years, the youth is cheated with fake promises. The future lies in the hand of the younger generation and the ruling party befooling them for the sake of their interest. Q. What are your agendas? RK: If I win, I will surely work for the development of my Block and addressed the grievances of locals in the early possible time. It is our duty to spread awareness among the masses and give them the right opportunities. The development scenario of the country is standing still, the market is inflated, the prices of goods touch the sky and soon the recession is hitting the country. People started realizing their mistake. Now, they want development and jobs, not false promises. Dr. Bansi Lal said that for the last 25 years I am working with the Congress party and whenever the party is in power there is a lot of development in Block. The higher secondary school, hospital had been built by the Congress but there was no development by the opposition party till now.
