NDO celebrates International AIDS Day

Y B News Rajouri, Dec 01 ‘International Day for AIDS awareness’ celebrated at Rajouri, in UT of J&K today jointly by voluntary, charitable, nonprofit making organizations, namely ‘National Development Organization (NDO), Jammu’ in Collaboration with ‘Public Technocrates Society, (Regd.) Jammu’ with great enthusiasm. The programme was fully supported by locals of Panchayat Darhal Malkan, and was catalyzed by adjoining Panchayats of the Darhal, Rajouri, J&K. The programme was inaugurated by Chief Guest Baitullah Malik (Sarpanch Chokian-C, Darhal Malkan) & and was presided over by Bashir Malik, Retd. Range Officer. The programme was started with enchanting of lightening of traditional lamp and chief guest was presented a bouquet by Panchs and other dignitaries of the area. In the programme special lecturers were delivered and public present was made aware, and banners regarding the AIDS awareness were also displayed at different locations of the area. The chief guest spread light on the eve of ‘International AIDS Day’ and the speakers from different walks of life spoke regarding the subject and its importance. The public was inspired to know about the spreading of AIDS and demanded such more programmes in near future. In the programme the Sarpanchs, Panchs, Local Leaders, Driver Community were also present in the programme alongwith other eminent & prominent personalities or the area besides Zulifkar Malik, Chairman National Development Orgn a noted social worker of J&K State were present on the occasion. At the end of the programme the vote of thanks was presented by Arun Khajuria, Chairman of the Public Technocrates Society, Regd, Jammu.
