CRPF observes Swachhata Pakhwada

Jammu, Dec 1 Swachhata Pakhwada is being observed from Dec 1 to Dec 15 at Group Centre, CRPF Bantalab headed by S.P.Singh, DIG. At the beginning of this cleanliness fortnight drive on Dec 1, Sumit Verma, Dy. Comdt. administered the ‘Pledge’ to the gazetted officers, subordinate officers and jawans of the Group Centre and to inculcate personal hygiene, sanitation and “cleanliness” in their daily routine. Just as the late Mahatma Gandhi ji liberated India by breaking the chains of slavery, in the same way, it is our duty now that we should remove the dirt and illuminate the name of India on the global platform. Under this cleanliness fortnight (Swachhata Pakhwada) from Dec 1 to Dec 15, barracks of Jawans, toilets, family quarters, mess-kitchens, main office, MT, stores and public space outside the campus gate and the area around the Kendriya Vidhyalaya will be cleaned on a daily basis. Besides, the Jawans and children of Kendriya Vidhyalaya will also participate in a “Roadmarch” on Dec 2 in the campus. In addition, videos related to cleanliness fortnight drive will also be shown to the Jawans and their families. In order to aware the residents of the campus the importance of hygiene, Sanitation and cleanliness, large banners have also been displayed inside and outside the main gate of the camp and at main places of the campus.
