Army helps recover private vehicle

Udhampur, Nov 30 On 29 November 2020 at around 1400hr assistance was sought by Jammu and Kashmir Police Mahore from Reasi based Army unit to recover a vehicle which had fallen into a gorge at Kalwa (Near Shajroo). Immediately, a recovery team was launched to provide assistance in recovery. Jammu & Kashmir Police also supported in the recovery process. Mahindra Pick up Vehicle which belonged to Shabir Ahmed, resident of Sharjoo, had fallen into a deep gorge and was stuck amongst trees and boulders. No injuries were sustained by any civilians. Hours of sustained and relentless efforts put in by the Indian Army led to successful recovery of the vehicle by 1830 hrs. The locals profusely thanked Indian Army for this helping gesture and always being there for Awaam in times of needs.
