Apni Party candidate Mohd Farooq files nomination papers

Y B News Jammu, Nov 29 Apni Party candidate Mohammed Farooq has filled his nomination papers from Ramban-A District Development Council (DDC) elections after resigning from the Congress Party alongwith the supporters. In a statement to the press, the Apni Party gave mandate to Mohammed Farooq from Ramban-A in view of popular demand of the people among whom he has worked for the district from last many years selflessly. Farooq was block president of Congress Party from Ramban district and he alongwith his supporters left the party due to the failure of Congress Party in redressing the issues of the public and joined Apni Party. After filing his nomination papers, Farooq thanked Apni Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari and Vice President of the Party Aijaz Ahmed Khan for their faith in his candidature. He said that the DDC constituency Ramban- A is lacking behind regarding development and other aspects and the condition of roads is in worse condition. The people, he said, in this constituency are still struggling to get basic requirements like road connectivity, proper public transport, clean drinking water, and electricity supplies.
