TPM wins Heavenly Shepherd Memorial Cup

Y B News Jammu, Nov 29 A final match has been played between TPM Church XI and St Peter School XI team. A tough match has been witnessed and finally TPM chased 44 runs of target set by St Peter School team. SSP JAMMU Shridhar Patil was the Chief Guest and SP North Jammu IPS PD Nitya is a special guest in presence of Guest of President DGPC Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee Jammu Jagjit Singh and special guest social activist & chairman KCWT Chandan Datta. In total 16 teams have been participated and 34 matches has been played through which final match held between these two teams. SP PD Nitya appreciated the move of Zion sports club orga used by All JK Christian Sabha. She has extended her full support to initiate such activities to inspire youth for sports and in this way they may stay away from drugs and built up their character and career. Datta has congratulated the winning and losing team and appreciate their sportsmanship and game. He apprised and seeks support of youth to indulge themselves in any sport of their choice and Excel in the field to make their body and mind fit. Such initiative in rural area may give our youth a platform to prove their talent and worth and contribute for the Nation building he also appeal to youth to stay away from drugs and appreciate the role of JKP and SSP Shridhar Patil for his steps taken to eradicate drug leave and other crime in Jammu periphery. DGPC President Jammu dist Jagjit Singh Jagga welcome such a brilliant step of ZION SPORTS CLUB and also appeal to JKP to take more strict measures and tighten grip on drug peddlers. Ashu Peter Mattoo President All J&K Christian Sabha may extend his greetings to all the dignitaries and congratulated the both team who reached at finals. The other members present are Mohd Jasarat Khan, J.Charles Davis, Pastor Akbar Masih, Sunny Khokhar -Gen Secretary, Vicky, Rohit Rockes, Tony Mattoo, Lovely, Harun, Sebastian and Raj Kumar
