New Delhi, Sep 24 Kings XI Punjab’s opening clash against the Delhi Capitals was a game that had everything. There were big hits, wickets falling in heaps, and then comebacks from both teams to bring the game to IPL 2020’s very first Super Over. The Delhi Capitals won it very easily in the Super Over, having to just chase 3 runs, but KXIP coach Anil Kumble said that his side had put behind that loss and were now geared to push ahead their IPL campaign in the second match against Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore. Speaking ahead of their clash against RCB, Kumble said, “I think we have the ability to put it across so all depends on the day who plays well. Our preparations over the last one month have been really good and we are very positive after the Delhi Capitals game as to what we need to do and what are the corrections we need to make. “It's on the same ground that we would be playing RCB. It is a T20 tournament so you just want to be good on a particular day and look at one game at a time.” The former India spinner and former coach of Team India also said that Royal Challengers Bangalore batting lineup is very strong and experienced, but added that the KXIP have their plans on how to deal with it. Kumble also praised the young Karnataka batsman Devdutt Padikkal, who hit a quick 56 off 42 balls as an opener for RCB against the SRH in their opening campaign on Sunday. “You know obviously RCB has a very strong batting lineup with Virat, AB and Aaron Finch, very experienced as well. Young Padikkal batted really well for them in the last game, again a debutant, nice to see a youngster do well in the IPL, but we have our plans," Kumble said in a video posted on the official Twitter handle of Kings XI Punjab. Kings XI Punjab will look to get their first points on the table in the clash against RCB, while for the Virat Kohli-led side, who ended their 3-year jinx at the start of the season,
